Industrial Controls Electrician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a person with at least 4 years experience installing and troubleshooting electrical controls in the industrial or HVAC environment.

We have found employees that love working with industrial controls, relay logic, and PLC type programming also enjoy and excel in low voltage building controls and have little trouble switching into this profession. This profession is usually in a clean and friendly environment, moving around to new customer facilities and often working with cutting edge technology. Installing and troubleshooting low voltage systems can be very challenging and fulfilling.

We are looking for an EXPERIENCED CONTROLS ELECTRICIAN to work out of our Hahira GA office with the ability to learn low voltage systems, to them install them as well as perform routine service calls at facilities in the South Georgia/North Florida area. Ace is looking for good skilled people with at least 4 years experience in either the Electrical Controls or Low Voltage Controls field.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Test, inspect, troubleshoot and repair systems in a variety of environments (Industrial, Commercial, and Healthcare)
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, schematics, submittals, and specifications.
• Lear and become efficient at installing, servicing, maintaining and programming Fire Alarm Systems and various other Life Safety systems.
• Lear and become efficient at installing, servicing, maintaining, and programming Intrusion Detection, Access Control and CCTV.
• Be self-motivated, hardworking and detail oriented.
• Be a team player contributing to the continued success, growth and excellent reputation of Ace Technologies.
• Work at required heights utilizing ladders, lifts or other.
• Work in confined spaces as necessary.
• Daily communication with Service Manager on delays, requirements and general status of Service Work Orders.
• Work proactively and in a positive manner with all co-workers.
• Ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities without supervision.
• Ability to organize workload for effective implementation.
• Good customer service skills.
• Must have some mechanical ability.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• A High School diploma or GED
• Technical School Electrical, Military Electrical, or Electronic School training preferred.
• 4 years experience in Low Voltage Installation/Service and or Electrical Controls installation/service.
• Flexibility in working hours is required.
