- Prepare hot lunches and ready cold lunches in a child care setting.
- Provide two snacks daily for enrolled children at Prater Lane Play School per State and County regulations.
- Responsible for kitchen cleanliness, ordering and stocking food supplies and maintaining kitchen to Health Department regulations.
- Communicate appropriately to ensure all special dietary needs are met and screen for allergies.
- Relieve teachers for breaks and help in classrooms as needed.
Required:
- High School diplomea or equivalent
- Completion of Safe Serve class
- Fluent in English; both written and spoken
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Able to stand for long periods of time
- Preferred: Previous kitchen and childcare experience
