Employee housing is available if you are a student, even in the off season. The new Culinary Arts – Vail Valley program is a unique, comprehensive culinary school. Positions available for Internship Students:

- If you have extensive cooking experience (more than 5 years) and are enrolled in the internship program please describe your experience to your interviewer and they may have suggestions as to positions that would better match your expertise. 

 

The Entry Cook is responsible for basic food preparation tasks, such as cutting up meat and fish, cleaning, peeling, slicing, chopping, measuring and mixing ingredients, etc. May use basic cooking skills to work on a line or in a cooking station, such as the broiler, fryer, oven, grill, or sauté station and be responsible for set up of assigned station. May be responsible for loading and unloading food product to remote meal sites for preparation.  

 

The Intermediate Cook functions as experienced cook, responsible for performing the full cooking process using established recipes. This includes preparing and measuring ingredients; grilling, broiling, baking, frying, and sautéing; testing for doneness and taste; adjusting seasoning and temperature for best results; and attractive food presentation. In casual facilities, fully responsible for all aspects of a cooking station. Ensures cooking station or area is sanitary and fully functional. 

 

The Advanced Cook Functions as very experienced cook, responsible for performing the full range of the most difficult cooking tasks. In addition to cooking complex menu items, prepares sauces and glazes to enhance flavors. Improvises on established recipes based on availability of ingredients. Suggests, develops, and tests new recipes and menu items. May assist with ordering and inventory management. Oversees food preparation and provides training and guidance to more junior staff.

  • Individuals who are passionate about guest service and the hospitality/ski industry
  • English Proficiency
  • Some experience in food and beverage or guest service
  • Flexibility is a must, and typically most hours will be on weekends and holidays.

Game Creek Restaurant offers delectable, five-star, distinctive American cuisine complimented by an award-winning wine list and superior service. This breathtaking European chalet-style restaurant is accessible only by snowcat. 

 

Beano's Cabin (Beaver Creek): Tucked into an on-mountain meadow at the base of Larkspur Bowl, this luxurious log hideaway is one of Colorado's top restaurants. Here, you'll be treated to a true feast for the senses with our open kitchen where guests can watch our chefs in action as they prepare five-course meals comprised of traditional Colorado fare.  

 

Toscanini (Beaver Creek): Toscanini is nestled at the base of Beaver Creek Mountain, next to the skating rink in the heart of the village. The alpine backdrop lends itself to la dolce vita, and the atmosphere is lively and informal. The cuisine is stylish and contemporary, the flavor authentically Italian.  Watch as our chefs prepare individual pizzas, house-made pastas, and fresh seafood in the open kitchen.  

 

Zach's Cabin (Beaver Creek): Perched on the mountainside high above Bachelor Gulch with the uninterrupted views of the magnificent Gore Range, Zach's is the epitome of fine dining at its peak.  Guests are whisked away for a starlit sleigh ride, pulled by a Beaver Creek Snow Cat.  Famous for its artful assemblage of fresh Rocky Mountain fare featuring the finest regional and seasonal ingredients paired with excellent vintages for the perfect dinner experience.  

 

Allie's Cabin (Beaver Creek): Allie’s Cabin is one of Beaver Creek's three famed, private, on-mountain fine dining cabins—with a celebrated collection of wineries accompanied by a stunning fireworks display over Beaver Creek Village. Guests enjoy five courses of classic contemporary regional fare, each crafted to perfectly pair with the featured wines of the evening. Our Allie's team relocates during the summer to the Rendezvous Club at the Beaver Creek Golf Club, continuing to provide tasty service to our golfing guests. 

 

FAST CASUAL LOCATIONS:

Spruce Saddle (Beaver Creek): Offering international cuisine such as lobster tacos, freshly rolled sushi, pho, and handcrafted pizzas & sandwiches - all freshly prepared by our chefs and their team. Spruce Saddle is a great lunch and après hotspot located at the top of Centennial™ Express Chairlift #6. 

 

Talons Restaurant (Beaver Creek): Our newest on-mountain restaurant, located at the picturesque base of Larkspur Bowl with panoramic views of Grouse Mountain and Birds of Prey.

Indulge in a smokehouse-inspired menu, known for its breakfast and lunch, and is the perfect place to enjoy an apres-ski drink on the expansive deck. In the summertime our culinary staff relocates to the Red Sky Ranch Golf Club and provides the same excellent service at the Summer Thyme Restaurant
