At RockResorts/Vail Resorts Hospitality, we affectionately refer to our housekeeping staff and rooms attendants as the "heart of the house!”  By adhering to the highest quality of industry standards, our housekeeping staff ensures guest satisfaction every step of the way.  We are hiring new additions to our team and are looking to further enrich our talent in housekeeping!  Looking for guest service oriented individuals who value cleanliness, are energetic, organized/methodical, who want to reward hard work with some fun in a spectacular mountain community.  If you want to experience one of the most AMAZING places in the world, come join the hospitality team in Vail as a Turndown Attendant!   

Duties include but are not limited to:

  •  Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
  • Enter guest rooms following procedures for gaining access and ensuring vacancy before entering. Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms. Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items.
  • Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms. Replace dirty linens and terry with clean items. Make beds and fold terry. Tidy bathrooms. Adjust lighting as necessary. Remove trash, dirty linen, and room service items. Vacuum carpets if necessary.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; properly store flammable materials.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Assist with day shift activities at the beginning of the shift, including cleaning rooms and public spaces.
  • After turndowns are complete, clean spa, fitness center, movement studio, and locker rooms.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisors and managers.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma. -preferred
  • Previous housekeeping experience in hotels or condos. -required
  • Able to communicate effectively in English, both written and verbal. -preferred
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs. -required
  • Able to stand for long periods of time in excess of 2 hours without sitting. -required
