The Corral Foreman is responsible for the total operation of the Corrals including location management, supervision of wranglers, and supervision of corral operations, and is expected to assist wranglers in leading guided interpretive horseback trail rides for guests, as well as assisting guests on trail rides and assuring their comfort and safety. The Foreman is also expected to provide care of horses and maintain the corral in a neat, orderly fashion.  The Coral Foreman is required to be friendly, courteous and knowledgeable providing information regarding Flagg Ranch Company, Grand Teton National Park and the surrounding Jackson Hole area.

Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Ensure that employees perform their duties properly.
• See that the rides remain on schedule and make periodic security checks on the number of riders on each ride.  Ensure that overall customer services are of quality level.
• Ride routinely as a wrangler at least once per week and more often as need or if there is a problem with a particular ride or trail.
• Fill in where needed if shorthanded.
• Prepare opening schedule (stock arrival, vettings, shoeing, hay arrival, employee arrival, etc.).
• Yearly review of Job Descriptions and make appropriate changes.

The “must haves” for this position include:

• Possess the ability to present self professionally in guest interaction
• Previous experience working as a wrangler

We prefer that you additionally have the following skills / experience, but it is not required: 

• Previous supervisory experience
