Aerotek is seeking a General Production Worker for a rapidly growing company in Bend, OR. This is a contract to hire position with full benefits available and a $2/hour pay raise when going full time!

Responsibilities Include:

LINE TAILOFF

  • Inspect product for flaws and defects, alert operators of any problems or defects immediately and package each product correctly
  • Keep lines and production floor clean and free of debris and stocked for incoming shift
  • Complete all necessary paperwork (i.e. work orders), read and understand specifications for all products
  • Keep supervision, operators, and other teammates informed of all problems or relative production concern
  • Build boxes, clean and maintain printers, keep track of tools and equipment and ensure all needed supplies are available
  • Work closely with team members to be more efficient, troubleshooting problems and helping find new or better solutions, ask for help when needed
  • Participate in and promote continuous improvement events and ideas

LINE OPERATOR

  • Run efficient production lines, problem solving to ensure products meet quality specifications, including checking product and equipment frequently, making immediate adjustments or changes to lines when needed
  • Keep lines and production floor clean and free of debris and stocked for incoming shift
  • Complete all necessary paperwork (i.e. work orders), read and understand specifications for all products, grade products, document all changes to the line as they occur
  • Consistently communicate problems or needs with supervision, as well as, with all team members
  • Build boxes, clean and maintain printers, keep track of tools and equipment, ensure all needed supplies are available
  • Run, set-up, and have ability to start an extruder
  • Work closely with team members to be more efficient, troubleshooting problems and helping find new or better solutions, ask for help when needed
  • Participate in and promote continuous improvement events and ideas

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of manufacturing related experience
  • Mechanical aptitude & manual dexterity to operate machinery and computers
  • Experience with repetitive tasks
  • Experience with multi-tasking
  • Able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Previous packaging or assembly experience preferred
  • Detail oriented
  • Able to work in a team environment - good verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience standing and working 12-hour shifts preferred
  • Must wear steel toed boots
