General Laborer

Our client is a contractor that works on civil projects across the country. They contract directly to the data center customers like Infomart, Equinix, etc.,
They are currently looking to hire laborers to join their Sterling, VA team for long term positions.
The laborers will work in a crew of 3-5 people on commercial new construction projects in the VA area.

Job Responsibilities:
Unload tools, prepare building site materials, stack building materials, and set up equipment
Follow project instructions from construction manager or supervisor
Consult with construction plans
Use tools to complete daily tasks
Follow all health and safety regulations
Complete all assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner
Prepare new construction sites by digging, moving dirt, or compacting space
Clean and clear debris
Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly

Overview

-$15-$16 (BOE)

-Ability to work overtime and receive uncapped overtime pay (time and a half)

-10 hours of overtime on average per week

-Must have a great work ethic

-Be willing to work outdoors

-HQ located in Sterling, VA

-Ability to learn and operator heavy equipment if willing to be taught

-Potential to grow into a heavy equipment operator

- M-F 6:30am-2:30pm
