Weekend Caregiver: (days,evenings,overnights)

At Home Instead Senior Care® in Belleville, IL our mission is to help local seniors stay safe & secure in the home that they know and love. Your skills, talents & compassion can help make this possible. We are looking for evening, overnight, & weekend professional CAREGiversâ&euro&OElig for St. Clair & Monroe counties in Illinois. We currently have clients in Columbia, Waterloo, Belleville, O'Fallon, Mascoutah, and Freeburg who are in need of professional CAREGivers.

CAREGiver Duties
As a CAREGiver, your job is to deliver high-quality professionalism, companionship, and care with a compassionate touch. Your duties may include:
 

• Companionship & conversation
• Grocery shopping
• Light housekeeping
• Meal planning & preparation
• Medication reminders
• Pet care
• Planning & participating in activities like reading, games and light exercise
• Providing transportation to & from appointments
• Specialized Alzheimer's & Hospice caregiving
• Toileting & incontinence assistance
• Bathing & showering assistance

This list is by no means exhaustive. We do our best to provide those services that will help our clients age with dignity in their homes.

Requirements to be a CAREGiver
To meet our high standards, you must be willing and able to:
 

• Treat & care for seniors with compassion, dignity and respect
• Communicate in a friendly & cheerful manner
• Complete a drug screen
• Be 21 years of age and older
• Hold a valid driver's license
• Possess your own reliable vehicle
• Maintain uninterrupted insurance on your vehicle
