With over 76 restaurants, ICHIRAN Ramen has offered the same authentic and deliciously classic ramen in Brooklyn and Manhattan. As we reflect on the blueprint of our vision, we have now entered the next phase in which we are further expanding our business in TIMES SQUARE, MANHATTAN.

We are currently looking for people who can work full-time or part-time for both Front of House and Back of House, start immediately and are excited to be a part of the great Ichiran team and enjoy working in our restaurant to serve our customers with an extraordinary dining experience.

No restaurant work experience necessary!

-Essential Job Responsibilities-

  • Front of House opening and closing tasks.
  • Have knowledge of all table numbers and layouts.
  • Greet and take guests to their tables and explain Ichiran's concepts.
  • Answer incoming calls in a professional manner.
  • Have knowledge of all menus and Ichiran's concept.
  • Ensure positive guest service in all areas.
  • Take guest orders, answer any questions, and accurately enter orders into POS system.
  • Take all appropriate actions for guests to have a pleasant dining experience.
  • Acknowledge and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Serve menu items in a timely and friendly manner.
  • Handle cash transactions with guests as a cashier.
  • Set up tables, paper napkins, utensils etc.
  • Clear and clean tables and seats.
  • Other duties will be assigned as necessary.
  • Back of House opening and closing tasks.
  • Prepares high-quality food and drinks according to the company standardized recipes and instructions in a timely manner.
  • Ensures that food and drinks are prepared according to the orders received from the restaurant guests.
  • Performs dish washing tasks such as sorting and rinsing dirty dishes, glass, tableware and other cooking utensils, places them in racks to send through dish machine and keeps dishes cleaned and stocked.
  • Conducts stock inventory, checks periodically and replenish items as needed.
  • Maintains the kitchen and common areas clean and neat in accordance with the Health and Mental Hygiene and kitchen safety standards.
  • Reports any issues and accidents to the supervisor immediately.
  • Completes job checklist as needed.
  • Other duties will be assigned as needed.

-Job Requirements-

  • Able to work closing shifts or open availability.
  • Able to work on weekends and all holidays.
  • Able to lift and move materials and equipment weighing up to 40 pounds as needed.
  • At least 18 years old.
  • Must be legally authorized to work for any U.S. Employer.
