About this job
There are openings for a Machine Operator at a manufacturer of structural connecting systems for wood, steel, masonry, concrete, and composite wood building construction.
The job consist of operating a metal stamping press for specific jobs. Candidates will be in charge of interpreting information from work orders and blueprints and manufacture the product. Candidates will learn to set up for each job and a large portion of the job is for them to load and pack parts under the direction and guidance of a supervisor.
Percentage breakdown:
40% operating and setting up machine
60% loading and packing parts
There are openings on 2nd shift and pay is $17/$18/hr based on work experiences.
