Project Manager

We are looking to add 2 full time project managers to their team. They specialize in installation, maintenance and repair of underground high voltage cable transmission systems. They work for a number of national utility clients all over the country. This project manager is responsible for managing the project budget, procuring materials, managing subcontractors and equipment rentals, and helping to generate schedules/ safety compliance.

The typical work environment is a construction site. Must be willing to work in an environment subject to outdoor weather conditions, on or around energized electrical equipment, in confined spaces, underground, in or adjacent to noisy and dirty environments. The PM will likely set up shot in a construction trailer that will be set up on a project by project basis.

Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction related field. (5+ years of specific project management experience in the utility industry could be acceptable in place of a degree.)

Microsoft Office/ Project Experience or experience using Primavera P6

Ability to read and understand prints, cable drawings and/or schematics

Must be willing to follow and enforce federal, state, local and company safety regulations

Strong Leadership Skills

MUST be willing to travel across the country for long term assignments.
