Job Description
Top Three Skills: Robotics, automation, electrical troubleshooting, controls Job Description:

* Independently conduct preventive maintenance, upgrades or repair of the equipment and infrastructure available at the worksite


* Help with the installation process of new and advanced technologies


* Tests machines that are already installed for their performance and safety


* Ensure timely, professional, and effective response to customer service needs to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction


* Escalate issues to tech support team or engineering if required


* Create regular reports to highlight performance KPIs and other system usage data


* Ability to work flexible shifts and to adapt to changing work schedules


* Demonstrated ability to diagnose and fix hardware and software industrial equipment


* Hands-on experience with Windows/Linux/Mac OS environments


* Good understanding of computer systems, mobile devices and other tech products


* Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk application (e.g. Salesforce Service Cloud)


* Excellent problem-solving, communication and organizational skills


* Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal

Work Environment: Onsite in Upper Marlboro, MD. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast paced warehouse environment. Additionally, candidates must be comfortable climbing ladders upwards of thirty feet high and be comfortable climbing inside the robots as needed to perform testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance. Qualifications:

* 5+ years experience as a Field Service Engineer


* Bachelor's or associates degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus, however, 7+ years of relevant working experience in robotics or automation may substitute


* Other technical certifications would be beneficial


* Able to manage technical work in the field with little to no supervision
