Strategic Leadership
  • Supports development of business unit 3-year strategic growth plan
  • Develop strategic marketing and acquisition initiatives aimed at increasing traffic, engagement, and conversion rates on Schwans.com, the Schwan’s App and our customer contact center, for both new and repeat customers
  • Responsible for the growth and health of the customer base
  • Develop and oversee execution of strategic online lead generation campaigns designed to maximize lead volume and conversion
  • Define, build, and interpret actionable reporting dashboards and reports using web analytics and campaign management tools
  • Interpret business objectives into actionable paid search campaigns
  • Drive the evolution from a mass marketing approach to personalization, leveraging insights, segmentation and data analytics
  • Act as a business thought leader, recommends actions to increase business impact in support of overall strategy
General management
  • Develop, measure and analyze campaign-testing strategies to maximize campaign ROI
  • Analyze landing pages and provide well-defined strategies to improve conversion and ROI
  • Develop and track success metrics of online and offline marketing
  • Responsible for the P&L of the acquisition channels, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Oversight of all digital marketing campaigns and spend, with a high level of results orientation
  • Drive career development and skill development of teams to ensure job satisfaction, retention and future talent development
  • Leads team in decision making on short-term and long-term actions to support business strategy and profitability
Marketing Acumen
  • Accountable for all elements of marketing mix: advertising, media, offers and channel strategies
  • Continue to refine target consumer using insights and data
  • Design and execute campaigns using a combination of Display, SEO, SEM, OOH, Direct Mail, referral programs, re-targeting, and other customer acquisition and engagement methods
  • Research and analyze industry changes/developments in search engine marketing
  • Own and execute a customer lifecycle marketing strategy to drive acquisition, repeat sales and build loyalty
  • Own and develop all acquisition agency relationships
  • Defines strategic agency approach and overall business relationships, budgets and major projects including RFP’s and changes

Qualifications

Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience. MBA preferred.

Years of Related Experience: Typically has a minimum 10 years related experience

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: PC skills including Microsoft Office and Outlook products. Thorough knowledge of company and group products policies and processes along with strong analytical leadership and communication skills required. Advanced level of understanding of the marketing function marketing tools and methods. Ability to communicate orally and in writing with all levels of management as well as work across the organization to create leverage and establish cross-function and cross-department synergies.
