Journeyman Electrician - Full-time / Part-time

We are looking for several long term electrician to join our team. We are open to high level Apprentices and Journeyman Electricians.

Pay: $18/hr to $31/hr (20 hours OT/week/Benefits/Long Term/Room to move up)

Hours: 6am to 3:30pm plus OT

Job Description:

The Journeyman will be working on behalf of this company at Intel to perform all needs geared towards tool install of manufacturing Equipment. Intel is currently expanding their current manufacturing Fabs. Those responsibilities will be determined based off of their experience with in motor controls, terminations, installation and other electrical applications. This company accepts contractors of all levels and sets responsibility and roles based on experience from day 1 on.

Duties / Experience Include:

Install, maintain and repair electrical wiring as well as equipment and fixtures. * Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, and apparatus * Connect circuit breakers, transformers or other components. * Construct and fabricate parts using hand tools and specifications. * Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem. * Plans layouts, installs and repairs wiring, electrical fixtures such as motors, generators, switches, circuit breakers and fuse boxes. * Inspects wiring and fixtures for conformance to company specifications or local electrical codes. * *Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards; defects and the need for adjustment or repair to ensure compliance of electrical codes. * Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment such as motors. * Place conduit (pipes or tubing) for tool install of chip manufacturing equipment * Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes. * Repair or replace wiring, equipment and fixtures using hand tools and power tools. * follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment to ensure conformance to building and safety codes. * Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility safety of system.
