Maintenance Technician

Currently seeking an individual who will provide mechanical maintenance services for a growing quick service restaurant (QSR) multi-unit franchise in the greater Philadelphia area. Technicians work independently, utilizing their skills to help our employees and our customers work and dine in a well maintained, pleasant environment. Their efforts contribute tremendously to our Corporate goals and objectives.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
- Performing repairs on restaurant equipment and property and necessary modifications to equipment installations
- Performing preventative maintenance service as outlined in PM program and regular inspections of all assigned restaurants and reporting the condition of equipment and property as well as maintenance status
- Maintains records of store level equipment inventory, spare parts and company owned tool inventories
- Assisting franchisee with recommendations regarding capital budget expenditures for equipment, building and property repair or replacement
- Maintaining current service and warranty repair records and prevents unwarranted repair expenses or violation of warranties
- Performing duties as required for store openings, special events, and store closing program; assists in transfer, sales and/or disposal of restaurant equipment and fixtures
Qualifications
Education / Experience:
- Experience in HVAC and refrigeration a must
- General knowledge of electrical & plumbing repair
- Environment Protection Agency (EPA) HVAC/R Certification ClassType1 &Type 2 certification preferred
- Ability to maintain/repair various types of electrical equipment, including restaurant cooking equipment
- Willingness to complete minor cosmetic repairs.
- Quick Service Restaurant industry experience a plus
- Technical Mechanical certifications a plus
- Minimum of 3 years' experience
