Home Instead Senior Care is expanding our office. We are actively searching to hire for a Part-time Administrative Assistant/On-Call Coordinator position. This position is expected to perform a variety of on-call duties to provide the highest quality service to clients and CAREGivers. This position would be part-time in the office and include on-call after hours of Monday - Thursday 4 pm to 8 am, and two weekends a month.

This position is ideal for someone who seeks flexible employment scheduling and who has a passion for helping others. The position requires the ability to comfortably learn and utilize the company's scheduling software. You must be a persistent and a resilient person, able to work quickly under stress with good judgement. Administrative assistant will provide, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Client care if needed
  • Answering office phones
  • Assisting office staff with communications between clients, families and caregivers

On Call Supervisor

· Answer all after-hours calls using a company provided cell phone

· Prior to start of shifts, review schedule with scheduling department and become aware of any potential trouble spots that might arise.

· Communicate updates to office staff daily

· Schedule all client shifts needed following office procedure

· Contact back-up staff to resolve concerns that require immediate responses

· Fill in on open shifts until a replacement can be found

Applicants must be:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Possess a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and valid auto insurance
  • Value the importance of treating and caring for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
  • Able to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Able to pass a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and drug screen
