Oftentimes, the level of care they require is much greater than what family can provide and off they go to live out their days in a facility. That's where Home Instead Senior Care caregivers can make a true difference! We currently have a 91 year old lady who resides with her daughter in Owensboro, KY and requires our help 24/7. She is bedridden and requires help with all her daily care. We are looking for a caring and compassionate individual that wants to be her guardian angel . The overnight shifts are NON-RESTING, which requires a nightowl who can stay up and alert throughout the shift.
Available shifts are:
Sunday 8pm - 8am
Monday 9pm - 8am
Tuesday 9pm - 7:30am
Wednesday 10pm - 7:30am
Thursday 10pm - 7:30am
Rate of pay: $10 hourly
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Companionship and conversation
- Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
- Medication and appointment reminders
- Alzheimer's Care
- Bathing/grooming assistance
- Incontinence care
- Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
- Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
- Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
- Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients)
- Reliable transportation
- Valid Driver's License and auto insurance
- Dependable and committed work ethic
Experience is preferred but not required.- skills training provided by Home Instead Senior Care. ALL of our CAREGivers are insured and bonded!
