Overview

If you want hands on E-Commerce/Omni-Channel Merchandising experience with one of largest off-price retailers in the nation, join the nationally-ranked Burlington Stores, Inc. internship program as an E-Commerce Intern! Are you entering your senior year as a full-time student pursuing your Bachelor’s degree? Do you have at least a 3.0 GPA? Are you interested in a career in E-Commerce and/or Digital Merchandising? Are you a self-motivated, team player, with strong planning, organizational and communication skills? If so, this may be the right opportunity for you!

As an E-Commerce intern, you’ll work out of our Florence, NJ corporate office. This won’t be your typical internship experience making copies and getting coffee! Throughout the comprehensive 10-week summer program, you’ll work side by side with industry leaders to gain practical knowledge and skills through your departmental assignment and a full understanding of what it’s like to work in the fun and fast-paced world of off-price retail! You and the other members of your summer intern class will receive a comprehensive orientation program to get your started on the right foot. You’ll be partnered with a current member of the E-Comm team, who will serve as your “buddy” for support and guidance. Throughout the summer, you’ll participate in Leadership Development Seminars, Classroom-style trainings in areas related to your program, visits to market in NYC, tours of our stores and distribution centers, shadowing days where you can explore alternative career paths and learn about other key parts of the business, and community service projects – not to mention a variety of team-building social activities to help you get to know your intern class!

Upon graduation, many alumni of our internship program go on to join our team as full-time associates, either rejoining the team where they completed their internship program or in a different branch of the organization! We are a rapidly growing brand, providing a variety of professional development opportunities so our associates can grow with us.

Responsibilities:

• Work with cross-functional teams including: Marketing, Supply Chain/Fulfillment Center, IT, Merchandising and Vendors to facilitate the launch of new products and categories on the site, to improve the overall digital customer experience, and improve the quality and efficiency of our operations
• Attend weekly meetings with E-commerce team and senior managers to review web sales, work flow and new merchandising strategies
• Develop website content/graphics and analyze performance on site
• Analyze operational process and customer website behavior to identify improvement opportunities

Candidates must be full-time students pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above . Marketing and Data Analytics and Computer Science majors preferred, but not required.
