Welder Helper Positions, entry-level! Learn to weld - Full-time / Part-time

We're currently looking for several welder helpers in the Bend/Redmond area. Welders with some aluminum experience would fit perfectly. The position itself is pretty entry-level, so any welding experience would suffice. There are day and swing shifts available. Pay is flexible depending on welding experience. Additionally we are hiring welder helpers who will then transition into welding positions after about a 6 month training period.

Job Description Details:

• Responsible for welding metal components together to fabricate or repair products according to layouts, blueprints, or work orders, using a variety of arc and gas welding equipment.
• Cuts metal using torch and following diagrams or sketches.

Qualifications:

• Able to read tape measure
• Able to read blueprints
• Must have knowledge of tools of the trade
• Able to drive a forklift
• Able to work independently and with others
