About this job

Job Description

  • Responsible for all phases of assembly, production and packaging of different types of medical devices and products
  • Works with manual and automated equipment
  • Ensures the highest quality and quantity of devices as per instructions or specifications
  • Follows SOPs, GDP, and GMP
  • Operate equipment such as:
  • Semi-automatic and/or automatic assembling machines
  • Labeling equipment including barcode printers
  • Magnet gauging equipment
  • In-Process Quality Control (QC) equipment
  • Various manual assembly equipment
  • Packaging of ACT, Incision and reagent products
  • Blade Setting & cleaning equipment

Qualifications

  • 6 Months to 1 year of manufacturing environment
  • Open to no experience if they have the following:
  • Must possess basic verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to understand written manufacturing procedures and must be able to follow instructions
  • Experience with/knowledge of medical devices within an ISO and GMP environment desired
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to provide accurate paperwork in a timely manner
  • Ability to consistently meet and exceed product output goals
  • Flexibility and adaptability; ability to manage change effectively
  • Ability to stay current with safety issues as well as material and equipment changeovers
  • Compliance; adherence to company policies
  • Teamwork

Additional Information

  • Regulated medical device manufacturing.
  • Fast-paced production - clean room environment
  • Work Monday to Friday. With OT potentially on the weekends.
  • 2nd Shift 1:30pm - 10pm Temporary to Full Time
