Our Client based out of Chantilly, VA is currently looking for an Audio/Visual Technician to work in their AV Commercial and Government Department. The candidate must be experienced in installation as well as troubleshooting. Candidates must have at least two years of direct commercial AV Technician experience.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:
* Transport and set up materials for installation.
* Installation, configuration, integration and testing of videoconferencing and audiovisual equipment
* Assemble and install displays, projectors, speakers, and other AV components.
* Read and interpret AV system drawings, schematics, and construction plans and install AV equipment to meet requirements as detailed in installation plans
* Install low voltage wiring and cable; solder and terminate connectors; wire equipment racks; and assemble equipment/devices using the appropriate supports/mounts
* Diagnose and troubleshoot AV equipment failures and make minor adjustments to audio visual equipment and systems.
* Provide basic troubleshooting of systems and identify problems. Seek guidance as necessary to find solutions
* Complete small projects within established time lines with guidance.
* Clean up job site.


Most of the work will be done in Northern Virginia, however the candidate must be willing to travel within the continental United States as well as OCONUS work for 2-3 weeks at a time.
Job responsibilities will include:
1. Provide technical expertise involved in the installation and integration of AV equipment including display devices, projectors, VTC systems, fiber equipment, etc. as required.
2. Working knowledge of Crestron system, AMX, Cisco and Extron Products
3. Test completed systems and diagnose malfunctions. Make corrections to provide a functioning AV system
4. Perform specialized technical tasks in the operation and maintenance of complex audio video equipment.
