Operations Analyst Job description
This role is more analytical in nature. These individuals will be focused on running data reports through Excel and Access regarding orders and trends. They will be analyzing the results of orders that have been entered. For this role it is helpful for someone to have a project coordinator or project manager background. Create reports through Excel, Access and SAP regarding performance against KPIs. The individuals in the Operations Analyst role will have a voice throughout the organization. They will be interfacing with other departments and may provide system improvement suggestions over to their partners in the IT department (Based on what they are experiencing as users).


Run a set of data reports through Excel, Access and/or SAP
Merge reports together to provide trend analysis
Pull samples of orders that have been entered and find source documents
Develop and publish reports showing key performance metrics for the team
Facilitate JSOX audit support for the team
Originate enhancements to improve the effectiveness of the team
Serve as a key testing resources for systems enhancements affecting the group
Provide support for unique processing needs not distributed to the core team
Advise management of key observations/issues gleamed from the analysis/reporting on the group's activities

Review terms and conditions and then apply them to their SOPs and audit rules.
