Aerotek is looking for a project manager for a national food manufacturer in central Ohio. They are looking for 2 Project Engineers who will be based out of their Westerville headquarters that will be mainly focused on capital projects at one of their 16 national manufacturing facilities.

PROJECT ENGINEER
- Initiates and executes mid-to-large size capital projects that improve plant operations and utilization to achieve maximum productive capability at the lowest operating costs

JOB DUTIES:
- Determine project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completes technical studies and prepares cost estimates
- Coordinates multiple projects with management, plant personnel, engineering, suppliers and consultants; provides on-site supervision of contractors as required
- Evaluates impact of changes to plant operations, safety and food safety prior to and subsequent to project implementation; calculates return on investment; presents capital projects to senior management for approval
- Reviews and recommends changes to plant layout to optimize flow for new and replacement equipment
- Collaborates with site leadership and operational excellence teams to complete detailed analyses of plant performance and improve utilization of equipment, personnel and utilities
- Partners with Technical Services, R&D and Operations to identify and implement the latest technology and best practices for equipment selection and facility maintenance standards across all sites
- Analyzes vendor and equipment alternatives for new or replacement machines
- Analyzes and recommends warehouse and material handling methods
- Analyzes and recommends building construction materials and applications
- Compiles and submits information for all required department/corporate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Researches and recommends resolution to environmental or safety issues
