Min Qualifications

Must meet one of the three following educational/experience requirements plus current BLS certification:


Satisfactory completion of a formal vascular technology training program (1-4 years) must be registry eligible with application for current year

or

Graduate from a diagnostic ultrasound training program (2-4 years) with 1 full additional year of full-time clinical experience in a dedicated vascular lab and registry eligible with application for current year

or

Approximately two years of college with emphasis on the biological sciences with two years experience in a dedicated vascular laboratory and registry eligible with application for current year.

Certified as a Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or registry eligible with application in current year.


JOB DESCRIPTION:

Works under limited supervision to provide advanced technical skills in the performance of non-invasive tests used in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular disease. Responsibilities include performing a full range of non-invasive vasculartests and related duties in patient care and academic/research environments.


Salary Range

The salary range for this position is $26.88/hr - $40.33/hr commensurate with experience.

The pay band for this position is PC21

NOTE: This position is PRN and includes no benefits.


Specific Job Related Duties

Our Ideal Candidate will:

  • Travel to and train with all 4 campuses- Angleton, Galveston, League City, Webster
  • Cover on an as needed basis when staff is on vacation/sick
  • Take some night or weekend on call at ADC.
