* Performing DNA analysis on evidentiary and/or reference samples as part of Bode Cellmark's forensic casework team;* Performing serological screening tests on evidentiary samples;* Interpreting results of analysis and providing detailed summaries or reports to clients;* Completing all documentation to support forensic findings and providing courtroom testimony as needed;* Maintaining chain of custody;* Performing maintenance on laboratory equipment and quality control of reagents used for casework analysis as needed;
Requirements* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in biology, chemistry, or forensic science related area;* Master's degree in biology, chemistry, or forensic science preferred;* Candidates must have successfully completed 9+ credits in biochemistry, genetics, molecular biology and have coursework or training in statistics or population genetics;* Previous laboratory experience and familiarity with accreditation standards is a plus; minimum of 1 year of forensic lab experience required, 2-3 years of forensics lab experience preferred;* Excellent oral and written communication and organization skills;
