AdventHealth Celebration seeks to hire a Nail Technician who will embrace our mission to extend the healing ministry of Christ.

The Fitness Centre & Day Spa at AdventHealth Celebration Health is a facility designed to meet the health and wellness needs of its members and guests. Voted the "Best Workout Facility" and "Best Day Spa" in Orlando for 2014, the 50,000 square-foot facility features state-of-the-art equipment such as Technogym, over 250 Group Fitness classes per month including Zumba, Les MillsTM, yoga and aquatics, a heated therapy pool and 25-meter lap pool, and full-service locker rooms complete with saunas, steam rooms, showers and amenities. The Day Spa offers a variety of relaxing and rejuvenating services from a team of licensed therapists, including Swedish and Therapeutic massages, facials, manicures and pedicures, and acupuncture treatments. Job Summary:

The Nail Technician provides treatments to customers of the Day Spa. During scheduled work hours, while not providing scheduled services, the technician interacts with members and maintains a friendly, open, and service oriented attitude while performing functions consistent with supporting the entire Fitness Centre and Day Spa team. She/he promotes the Spa Club, as well as, any marketing strategy as assigned. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

Knowledge, Skills, Education, & Experience Required:

• Guest service skills
• Ability to multitask
• Computer knowledge and skills
• Communication skills
• Organizational skills
• More than 1 year as a nail technician in a licensed environment (Preferred)

Licensure, Certification, or Registration Required:

• State of Florida licensed Nail Technician – clear and active

Job Responsibilities:

• Embraces the CREATION Health Lifestyle concepts and serves as a spokesperson for the FHILM mission. Creates a lively, positive, aesthetically pleasing atmosphere to encourage customer, partner, and team engagement.
• Performs services as licensed and directed.
• Sets up and breaks down work area at the start/end of each shift. Cleans and maintains equipment, tools and treatment areas daily
• Maintains up to date industry knowledge and skills.
• Recommends retail product to clients and facilitates the sale of that product with the front desk staff.
• Learns to use, operate, and understand products, tools, and equipment used at the Day Spa.
• Promotes spa services at events both on and off site, as needed.
• Provides the highest level of customer services and professionalism in all contacts.
• Performs other duties as assigned or directed to ensure smooth and efficient operation.
