Sacker - Part-time

The Sacker or Utility Clerk is primarily responsible for assisting customers in their shopping experience by sacking purchases and assisting in general store operations in the most efficient, friendly, and courteous manner possible.

SACKER DUTIES

-Utilize proper bagging techniques to minimize product damage, maximize efficiency and avoid shrink.
Know and implement the Cosentino Customer Service Standards.
-Delivering groceries to and loading them into customer's vehicles when requested.
-Assisting customers in locating items in the store.
-Retrieving carts from the parking lot and ensuring they are safe and clean for customer use.
-Conducting price checks for cashiers.
-Monitoring the sales floor, cashier stands, and restrooms for cleanliness and keeping these areas tidy and safe for customers and employees.
-Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional, courteous manner and follow through to the best possible resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS

-Must be able to demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills due to a high level of customer interaction
-Demonstrates the basic math and reading skills required for the position.
-In addition to other aspects listed in a full job description, applicants should be able to bend, twist and squat, and tolerate long periods of standing and walking.
