For over 50 years, we have served the Pittsburgh, PA region as the most reputable jewelry, diamond, rare coin and precious metals dealer. Treasure Hunt has eight locations throughout the greater Pittsburgh area and has expanded into southeast Florida with a location in Pompano Beach, Delray Beach and now West Palm Beach. Additional growth will occur in 2018.

Sales Associates facilitate the buying and selling of jewelry, diamonds, rare coins and precious metals to our valued customers. They strive to treat each customer as if they are our first, best and only customer. Successful associates also help to educate customers and build lasting relationships based on trust, honesty and integrity. They need to remain updated with the latest information on the products they are buying and selling. Sales Associates provide information on products and services and keep records of completed sales.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
The Sales Associate’s major responsibilities are to:
- Buy and sell gold, silver, jewelry, diamonds and coins from customers
- Provide exceptional customer service by creating a positive and rewarding customer experience that is warm and hospitable, maintaining the highest degree of courtesy and professionalism
- Cultivate and develop new customer relationships through exceptional customer care
- Complete required purchase and/or sales documentation
- Use electronic tools to report business activity
- Assist in the execution of merchandising and operational functions to company standards
- Daily set up and breakdown of store for opening/closing
- Helping with store projects/promotions as needed
- Maintaining a pleasing environment for customers including product presentation and store organization
Qualifications
- Warm, friendly, positive and outgoing personality is a must
- High School Diploma
- Proven ability and desire to work in a fast paced and changing environment
- Solution Oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Work in a team friendly environment
- Knowledge of Diamond quality evaluation a plus
- Pass a Background Check/Pass Random Drug Screening
- Flexible with scheduling and available to work retail hours, which may include day, early evening, Saturdays based on store/company needs
