Compensation: Compensation $20 - $25+ per hour plus incentives and benefits based on previous experience.
Full Time Furniture Sales Position at Hoot Judkins Furniture, the Bay Area's largest retailer of real wood furniture is seeking a motivated sales person for an immediately available full time position. This is more than just a "sales" position, we are looking for motivated customer service consultant that will work with customers to purchase custom wood and upholstery furniture. Includes sales and product training.
- New hire will be paired with an experienced sales member and will primarily work with customers in selling merchandise.
- New hire will be trained by managers and sales representatives.
- New hire will be expected to maintain store display including pricing and merchandising.
- New hire will be expected to help with design layout with customers. *New hire will be expected to use basic computer skill, and POS system.
- New hire may be expected to assist in lifting or moving small to medium size furniture items. This includes product demonstrations, assisting in receiving freight, minor furniture assembly and movement of products throughout the warehouse and store. Job Hours:
- This is a full time position with 40 hours per week.
- Store hours are M-F 9:30a-6:00p, Sat 9-5 and Sun 11-5.
- New Hire's schedule will be provided a least one week in advance.
- New Hire will be expected to work weekends.
Qualifications:
- *Sales experience
- Applicant subject to background and drug check
- Clean and well groomed
- 3 verifiable references
- Ability to lift 20 lbs
- Dependable, detail orientated person with good communication skills
- HS (or equivalent) diploma
- Basic computer skills
- Compensation $20-$25+ per hour plus incentives and benefits based on previous experience.
