Job Description

Our new team member must love being in the food service industry and in an environment that is fun, fast paced, and growing. This position is full time 40+ hours. The successful candidate will be motivated, honest, dependable, accurate, a team player that plays well with others, while working in a busy and shared space.

Duties of the job involve managing & leading the day-to-day baking operations of the kitchen and communicating with kitchen and delivery staff. Position requires organizational skills, a commitment to quality culinary service, and an eye for detail.

Availability

· 8-10 hour shifts between the hours of 6am and 4 pm - (Monday - Friday)

· Full availability in November and December (Won’t take any time off during these months)

 

Personal Requirements for Success:

· 2 years or more of bakery experience required

· Passion for great food

· Experience in mass production a plus

· Positive Upbeat energy

· Follow Red Radish culture standards

· Enjoys working with a team or independently

· Strong Attention to detail

· Must have reliable transportation to and from work

· Basic math skills required without use of a calculator (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division – Multiplication tables available)

· Flexibility when additional hours or schedule changes are necessary

 

Performance Expectations - Essential Functions:

· Work and plan from Daily prep sheet, package and label delivery orders

· Daily making of a wide variety of pastries including Cakes, brownies, coffeecakes, cookies, pies, and much more!

· Prepare recipes for baking including scaling and mixing

· Temper chocolate & Cooking Sugar

· Treats customers and co-workers with courtesy and respect

· Work in a clean and organized fashion

· Follow clearly documented food safety procedures

· Take Feedback & direction from multiple outlets, managers, owners, employees

· Attend and participate in department and business huddles (meetings)
