Job Description
We are a pet store in Houston focused on natural pet foods and cat's only boarding. Currently we have a Pet Store Specialist position available at our Houston, Texas location. The person hired must have the desire to be developed to a Shift Leader. This is a hands-on position with opportunity to grow. Must be comfortable approaching dogs and handling cats
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Team Member's primary responsibility maintains, promotes and services the luxury cat boarding. Additionally, the Pet Care Specialist is maximizing the store's performance in the area of sales, customer service and merchandising. The Associate will answer phones and check customer's out on the computer.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
An outgoing personality is a major plus!
Self motivated as to work with minimal supervision after training
Must be comfortable approaching dogs and handling cats
Excellent communication skills to assist customers
Desire to advance within the work environment
AVAILABLE DEVELOPMENT:
Train staff on cat boarding and pet store responsibilities
Opening and closing the store
Direct staff and follow-up on assigned task
