Retail Sales Assistant

Job Summary

Antonio Strad Violin is looking for a hard working, motivated, individual to join our team as sales assistant . This is a great opportunity to learn about the orchestra world through a company that has been a staple in the San Antonio strings community for 25 years. This position requires a personable, energetic, organized personality. Should have a passion for music/strings and can work as part of a team as well as independently. This position is supporting the manager and sales staff, prepping instruments for rentals, sales and deliveries, handling deliveries and various other task as the store requires.

Responsibilities and Duties

Basic Responsibilities

• Instrument Sales
• Inventory Management SKU's, merchandising, etc.
• Retails Sales
• Instrument Rentals
• Handling of Repairs (ticketing, diagnosing, delivering)
• Interact with Teachers
• Travel to area schools and service customers
• Representing the store at conventions, school drives, rental nights and other events
• Instrument Cleaning
• Instrument Touchups

Qualifications and Skills

Requirements

• Must play an orchestral instrument
• Must have a knowledge of Orchestral Instruments
• Some with Retail Sales
• Some College or Equivalent work experience preferred
• Must have reliable car and valid drivers license
• Must work Saturdays
• Must be Bilingual in English and Spanish
