Beverage Mart Manager

The Beverage Mart Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the Liquor Store.  The Beverage Mart Manager has significant responsibility for compliance with special laws and regulations with regard to the sale of liquor; for ensuring the security of both the store and the employees; and for supervising employees to ensure that they are well-trained in the sale of liquor and are in compliance at all times.  The Beverage Mart Manager is responsible for continuously evaluating the store to maximize its overall success.  

High School diploma or GED experience.
Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to quickly and effectively resolve issues that arise with both staff and customers.
Excellent reading, writing, and verbal communication skills required.
Above average analytical skills necessary to study and interpret various reports to keep the department profitable. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Physical Demands:
	Occasionally- Sitting, pushing and pulling up to 150 lbs., balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and smelling. 
	Frequently- Carrying up to 50 lbs., lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing up to 6 foot height, walking on tile/concrete, bending, and reaching waist/overhead level.
	Continuously- Standing on tile/concrete, manual dexterity, talking, seeing, and hearing. 

Safety Risk Factors:
	Occasionally-Loud noise, slippery or cluttered floor surface, hazardous equipment, contact with sharp objects, contact with skin irritant, toxic exposure (see Material Safety Data Sheets), nuisance dust, fumes, sprays, and hazardous cleaning solutions.
	Frequently-Twisting of back and neck. 

Other:
	Varied, irregular schedules.
	Working environment involves inside store with protection from weather conditions but not necessarily temperature changes.
