The main focus of the position will be to assist the Marketing & Communications team with the development and implementation of initiatives to promote Sunrise’s brand and customer experience externally and internally.


Responsibilities
  • Support Sunrise’s annual customer experience survey efforts including vendor management, community support and reporting.
  • Monitor online reviews engaging with customers for both positive and negative reviews, and tracking resolution with Operations.
  • Manage service alerts and customer opportunities identified through customer experience survey, online reviews and media relations.
  • Contribute to content development for a variety of channels including blog, social media, public relations and website to promote the brand experience with customers.
  • Manage database of Sunrise testimonials, identifying and executing on opportunities to utilize testimonials to promote Sunrise’s brand and customer experience.
  • Support a wide range of marketing and communications tasks, such as managing email boxes and photography databases, completing website updates and handling community-specific requests.
  • Draft and edit copy for materials including external and internal announcements, newsletters, marketing creative and promotions.
  • Help ensure accuracy and quality of marketing content. Proofread copy in all forms.
Qualifications:
  • 1-2 years of experience or training in marketing and communications preferred, but willing to make exceptions for the right candidate.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to do what it takes to complete projects with a dedication to quality and innovative thinking.
  • Resilient, with the ability to work to deadlines and maintain high levels of professionalism while managing multiple demands.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Corporate Marketing & Communications team members to contribute to all team initiatives.
