Home Instead Senior Care is the leading provider of non-medical in-home care services to seniors. Our goal is to provide seniors an opportunity to live independently at home by providing services such as companionship, personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, medication reminders and additional day to day support.

 

Objective:

The Office Coordinator/Receptionist is expected to perform a variety of clerical and administrative duties. This key player is expected to answer phones, complete administrative duties and support other staff members with clerical tasks in order to provide the highest quality service to clients.

 

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Answer each incoming call in a friendly, professional and knowledgeable manner and distribute incoming calls to the appropriate staff members
  • Greet and welcome each visitor in a friendly, warm and professional manner
  • Field new client inquiries over the phone in a knowledgeable manner and schedule care consultations
  • Assist with the on-boarding process and care coordination for clients duties may include setting up client profiles, client files (paper and electronic) as well follow up items such as thank you notes, care plans, networking, etc.
  • Assist with hiring process for new CAREGiversSM duties may include fielding employment inquiries from prospective CAREGivers and moving applicants through the process.
  • Communicate client and CAREGiver feedback with other staff members as appropriate
  • Maintain regular attendance at the office to execute job responsibilities
  • Demonstrate open and effective communication with management, colleagues and CAREGivers
  • Assist with additional administrative and clerical office tasks and responsibilities for the owner and support for other staff members
  • Assume occasional responsibility for back-up on call management duties

 

Education/Experience Requirements:

  • High school graduation or the equivalent
  • Two years of related business experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • Professional experience in customer service
  • Sales or marketing experience a plus
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

  • Must have the ability to organize and prioritize daily, monthly and yearly work
  • Must present a professional appearance and demeanor
  • Must be patient and congenial on the telephone
  • Must have computer skills and be proficient in Word and Excel
  • Must be able to work occasional evenings or weekends as required
  • Must be able to perform duties in a professional office setting
  • Must have an understanding of and uphold the policies and procedures established by (Lammers Enterprises, Inc.), (d.b.a. an independently owned and operated Home Instead Senior Care franchise)
