Overview

  Worlds of Fun has an opening in its Accomodations Division for Supv ‑ Housekeeping. This position will report to the Operations Supv ‑ WOF Village.Oversees the Housekeeping department. Cleans and replenishes items in Guest units and ensures they are ready for check‑in. Completes daily and weekly paperwork.

Qualifications

  Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law.

 

  Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.

 

 

Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs

Responsibilities

 

 

  l Reports all items needing repair or maintenance to management.

 

  l Makes up Guest beds, bathrooms and organize linen closets. Replenishes supplies, such as linens and bathroom items.

        Removes and carries linens, towels, toilet items and cleaning supplies using wheeled carts.

 

  l Cleans, scrubs, dusts, sweeps, vaccums and mops Guest units, including kitchenettes and bathrooms to ensure rooms are

        ready for check in. Washes windows, walls, ceilings and woodwork.

 

  l Communicates department status to manager, including operational issues, employee concerns, Guest concerns, losses and

        unusual situations. Accurately completes simple forms, reports, and departmental paperwork.

 

  l Motivates all subordinates to achieve optimum job performance through positive feedback and personal example. Schedules all

        department personnel to ensure adequate staffing levels are maintained within budgetary guidelines. Supervises, trains, directs,

        evaluates and disciplines staff with appropriate documentation.

 

  l Provides guest service according to Cedar Fair standards when serving the guest or working with subordinates, including

        initiating guest interactions, answering questions and giving directions.

 

  l Maintains cleanliness and safety in assigned work area and performs all duties in compliance with Cedar Fair Safety guidelines

        and requirements and reports all unsafe or unusual conditions to supervision.

 

  l Meets scheduling availability requirements, including nights, weekends, and holiday periods to meet business needs.

 

  l Meets Cedar Fair's attendance requirements as outlined in Cedar Fair's attendance policies.

 

  l Adheres to Cedar Fair's Rules of Conduct including specific costuming and grooming standards as outlined in Employee

        Guidelines and other park/division specific policies and procedures.

 

  l Other duties may be assigned.
