At BrightStar Care of Dublin we believe our caregivers should be well trained, confident and learning new skills all the time. We’re looking for passionate, caring, and outgoing Caregivers for 12-hour, 8-hour, and 4-hour shifts in Dublin, Pleasanton and Livermore. Work with any ages from infants to seniors, yes, we provide child care as well! 

In addition, we offer paid time off and a $200 sign on bonus.

Pay rate is $14 - $15 / hour depending on assignment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Successful completion of a nursing assistant program (a plus!)
• State HCA Registration 
• CPR certification
• Cleared physical exam and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
• Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile 

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene care as directed including, bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping
• Take and record vital signs as well as height and weight
• Assist client with active and passive range of motion as defined by the plan of care; document and report observed changes to the Director of Patient Care Services
• Assist client with walking and outdoor activities
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to established policies, procedures, and standards
• Uphold and respect client’s rights at all times
• Take clients to doctor appoints, grocery shopping and other errands as needed
