Aerotek is hiring Project Level Architects for residential, commercial and mixed-use building design. We are seeking talented architects looking for long-term employment who understand the balance between creative design and efficient production.
Our clients offer a variety of Northern Virginia locations to work from including Fairfax, Centreville, Reston, Sterling, Tysons, and more. Various locations offer direct partnership with registered architects for those pursuing AIA registration.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture
3-8 years of professional experience
Proficiency in AutoCAD Architecture OR Proficiency in REVIT
Proficiency in Sketchup or Photoshop / Adobe Suite
Experience meeting with clients independently to advance project
Job Description
This role's essential functions are performed with minimal to no supervision and focus on the completion of project goals including coordination, management, and production of documentation design.
Performs the following duties including:
- Create and produce plans, layouts, shop drawings, and construction documents
- Create and propose cost estimation, budget, and timeline expectations
- Act as main point of contact between project team and client for status updates, change orders, etc.
- Monitor and manage team to meet deadlines
- Produce drafts and designs; present to team/client in final reports, CD sets, etc.
- Review design plans, construction documents, codes, etc. for final approval
