The Security Guard I is an entry-level position responsible for performing all aspects of corporate security.

 

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

  • Ensure the safety and security of people, property, and information
  • Issue security badges as needed
  • Controls personnel, visitor, and contractor access to company facilities
  • Maintains an event log and operates computer systems supporting computerized security programs
  • Monitors security cameras and fire, building, and alarm systems
  • Patrols company property for security breaches, maintenance problems, fire and building hazards etc.
  • Respond to alarms, security situations and other incidents taking action as directed to resolve the problem
