ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Welcoming the guests that come to the restaurant
- Making them comfortable while they wait for their tables
- Recommending dishes to them before they order
- Making reservations and seating the guests accordingly
- Making sure that each table has a waiter attending to the guests.
- Follows seating guidelines to ensure guest service is not jeopardized.
- Look into the complaints made by the customers and see to it that they are rectified quickly
- Communicates guest disputes and directs to proper individuals. Assists with communication on room needs from leadership and/or barporter-stocker.
- Assists with communication between the kitchen and the restaurant staff
- Assist with maintaining a clean dining room by helping out servers with bussing tables, wiping down bars, stocking supplies, pushing chairs in, etc.,
- Complies with all health, safety and hygiene standards and policies.
- Assist with delivering food orders when business volumes allow.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Maintains clean work areas, at all times, replenishes stocks at end of shift and completes end of shift duties.
- Follows outlet policies and procedures to ensure operational flow
- Follows Spotlight Attributes which are, Welcome, Upbeat & Positive, Delight the Customer, and Provide Warm Farewell and the Moment of Truth.
- Knows and promotes customer events and programs and can provide accurate information to our guests.
- Is knowledgeable of the chef's daily specials and daily beer specials. Knowledgeable of the daily sporting events and locations of sporting events on TVs.
- Thanks Guests for coming in and invites them back as guests leave their dining area.
- Arrives for scheduled shift on time, with proper attire on. Uniform must be clean and pressed at all times, with name tag and badge visible.
- Learns and understands Open Table process.
- Demonstrates "just say yes" behavior when taking care of employee needs.
- Learns and demonstrates the requirements of creating a great experience for all of our guests.
- Know and promotes customer events and programs, can provide accurate information to our guests. (carries you should know, follows suggest standards)
- EGE all guests and peers they encounter, both in front of house and back of house like wise.
- Thanks guests for coming, invites them back as guests are leaving dining room.
- Able to ring sales into terminal and collect funds for payment.
- Follow all department and policy procedures pertaining to cash handling.
- Receive payment by cash, check, credit cards, vouchers, or automatic debits.
- Issue receipts, refunds, credits, or change due to customers
- Answer customers' questions, and provide information
- Must also assist peers with tasks, i.e., servers, bar-porters, stockers, bartenders and food Runners.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.

Must be 18 years of age.

Must pass background check and uranalysis drug test.

Must be able to work any day of the week and any shift, including holidays and weekends.

Must present a well-groomed appearance.

Minimum six months to a year cash handling experience strongly preferred within high volume industries.

Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
- Knowledgeable in data entry, read and interpret output from a computer
WORK ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to work independently along with a team mentality.

Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push and pull, as well as lift and carry above/below the shoulders a minimum of 25 lbs or more.

Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time or entire shift.

Must be able to work at a fast pace and in stressful situations.

Is able to tolerate areas containing second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust.

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.

Must be able to maneuver around office areas, effectively work in high traffic areas and responds to visual and aural cues.
- Mathematical abilities including addition and subtraction/accurate record keeping strongly required.
