Group Leader / After School Teacher (Monday-Friday)

AlphaBEST Education is currently looking for candidates interested in future opportunities for the Group Leader/Before & After School Teacher position in Prince George's County, Maryland! Program hours are 7:00 am - 9:30 am, and 3:00 pm 6:00 pm, Monday-Friday. The shifts will vary and will include approximately 30-32 hours per week. Our diverse curriculum offers technology, literacy, fitness and the arts. Program Leaders work with an assigned group of children to facilitate learning in an inspiring and fun environment. Job Requirements: * 19 years or older * HS diploma or at least 2 completed courses for credit from an accredited college/university * Completed 90 clock hours in School Age child development and curriculum or 6 semester hours in the equivalent approved training o)r hold a CDA (Child Development Associate or BA degree in Early childhood education * -OR- At least 1 year experience working under supervision with children any age or 1 year of college or combinaton of both to equal 1 year or hold an associate's or higher degree in early childhood education or equivalent * CPR/1st Aid certificate * Completed ADA certificate (Americans with Disabilities Act) * Medication Administration certificate * Emergency Prepardeness certificate Compensation and Benefits: AlphaBEST Education offers a competitive salary based on education and experience.
