Job Summary:
Assist the Product Development team in driving trend and product development for At Home stores. Enabling everyone to affordably make their house a home.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
. Tracks and follows-up on Product Development calendar for optimum operational efficiency.
. Attends and takes detailed notes at product review meetings; assisting both PD Managers and Associates.
. Tracks and assists with creation of product spec sheets and manages PD log to ensure that development of products is timely.
. Maintains a library of core materials, finishes, forms, samples and pantones, by category.
. Coordinates and tracks communication and follow-up with Factories and Trading Partners.
. Manages any necessary administrative tasks associated with product development
. Maintains up-to-date knowledge of category performance sales, margin and sell-through.
Qualifications
. BA/BS degree
. 1+ years' experience and/or training in product development or buying/merchandising
. Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills.
. Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative.
. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
