Job Summary:
Assist the Product Development team in driving and implementing trend and product development for At Home stores. Enabling everyone to affordably make their house a home.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
Assist the Product Development team in driving and implementing trend and product development for At Home stores. Enabling everyone to affordably make their house a home.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assists in development of product strategies for the Product Development team; focusing on finish, material, form, color, icon and overall design and value.
- Tracks and follows-up on Product Development calendar for optimum operational efficiency.
- Attends and takes detailed notes at product review meetings; assisting both PD Managers and Associates.
- Tracks and assists with creation of product spec sheets and manages PD log to ensure that development of products is timely.
- Manages vignette product development process alongside PD team.
- Maintains a library of core materials, finishes, forms, samples and pantones, by category.
- Coordinates and tracks communication and follow-up with Factories and Trading Partners.
- Maintains up-to-date knowledge of category performance sales, margin and sell-through.
- BA/BS degree
- 1+ years' experience and/or training in product development or buying/merchandising
- Superior organizational skills and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented, meticulous and creative.
- Creativity, sensibility for merchandising and customer needs.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
