PURPOSE OF THE ROLEThis Director of Local Co-ops is a critical member of the Field Marketing Organization. This key role will be based in Dallas, Texas with 35% travel.  The NDC will report into the Sr. Director of Field Marketing and will play 2 critical roles.•First, you will drive the strategic and operating direction of the existing local co-ops to ensure we are maximizing effectiveness of the national and local annual marketing plans via data-driven strategies.  You will be responsible for partnering with the Regional Marketing Director’s to develop new strategies, programs, and KPI’s that drive growth.  •Second, you will be responsible for the analyzation and identification of emerging market readiness for the formation of new co-op bodies. You will lead internal cross functional teams to develop a new co-op formation process and establish new co-op’s in key DMA’s. The ideal candidate will be customer service oriented, intellectually curious, an entrepreneurial problem-solver that has a passion for marketing, data, insights, and an appreciation for fast paced, dynamic environments.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:•Lead and implement the co-op strategy across various DMA’s. •Develop yearly co-op plans with outlined objectives ensuring growth goals are met.•Lead external media agencies to drive co-op priorities.•Partner with internal and external teams to build compelling business cases to drive co-op expansion.•Lead sell-in to leadership and brand partners.•Develop a performance scorecard and report monthly to senior management.•Build strong working relationship with rest of Field Marketing Team and key members of the Restaurant Support Center (RSC).•Work in tandem with the brand and field marketing teams to develop overarching marketing strategy and approach designed to increase incremental guest counts.•Ensure marketing efforts translate into measurable financial results through increased customer visits and overall revenue growth.•Utilize and monitor promotions, advertising, media planning, consumer research, traditional and social media tools and all other relevant marketing activities to reach various target audiences in the most effective manner possible.•Work with Regional Operations and Training peers on specific business needs and programs •Work with CRM team to oversee research initiatives to identify, translate and apply consumer behavioral feedback and market trends to implement effective promotions.•Assist in negotiating media schedules, sponsorships and placements on behalf of the Franchisee, Co-op and/or Advertising Agencies and Wingstop to ensure cost efficiencies, as needed.•Perform additional duties as requested by the Sr. Director of Field Marketing or Chief Marketing Officer. SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:•Must be a self-starter; A dynamic, high-energy individual able to excel in a fast paced environment and possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills.•Experience in brand management, agency management, traditional and digital media, promotions and communications. •Experience in crafting and presenting business cases to senior leadership team •Ability to communicate and influence cross functional teams, departments, and key stakeholders.•Skilled in problem-solving, planning, organization, multi-tasking, with strong analytical ability.•Possess strong working knowledge of a wide array of marketing research methods and their applications•Guest service mentality; has a genuine desire to serve the customer (Guest, Franchisee, Operations).•Able to make informed business decisions; remain result-oriented when tracking the linkage between marketing techniques and measurable financial results.•The ability to travel as necessary to support current and future growth.

Requirements

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Education: 
•	Bachelor’s Degree in business/marketing or related field. MBA or advance degree preferred. 

Experience: 
•	10 years of advertising/marketing experience with experience in QSR industry or other Field structures highly preferred.
•	Strong understanding and knowledge of co-op formation, including: bylaw composition, Robert’s rules application, and exec board selection. 
•	Highly proficient in base business tools (Excel/PowerPoint)
