The Center for Physical Therapy in Long Beach is growing and we need an experienced front office receptionist to join our team. It is a busy and dynamic practice with lots of great patients and staff.  This is job is for someone who prefers to multi-task and loves the positive and energetic atmosphere that we pride ourselves on here.

Must have a minimum of one year prior experience as a receptionist in a medical/PT/dental office. Position is full time from 9:15am-6:15pm. We are closed daily from 12-1 for lunch.

Job Duties include, but are not limited to:

Answer and direct phone calls in a polite and friendly manner
Welcome patients in a warm and friendly manner, and answer any questions patients/clients may have
Operate standard office equipment on a regular basis, including a fax machine, a copy machine, I Pad, and a computer.
Verify patient insurance. (accuracy key).
Collect co-payments & Keep detailed and accurate records of patient records
Prepare patient charts
Maintain the general office filing system
Maintain front office in a neat a tidy manner

Qualifications: 
Minimum of 1 year of front office experience in a medical/PT/dental office environment (please only qualified applicants apply) 
Attention to detail a priority
Enjoys Multi-tasking; fast paced office
Able to type 35 wpm minimum
Strong & friendly phone skills
Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English
Desires multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
Excellent interpersonal skills
Punctual with strong attendance history.
Take instruction from a variety of people and personalities
