To install, operate, maintain, and repair ammonia refrigeration and building HVAC equipment. Follow PSM and OSHA regulations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES QUALIFICATIONS
- Follow all safety rules and procedures when performing tasks
- Start and stop the refrigeration equipment to maintain proper operation to building critical operations.
- Maintain proper temperatures throughout the facility walk-in refrigerate and building HVAC systems.
- Perform preventive maintenance, trouble shooting and overhauling of all the refrigeration System and building HVAC equipment.
- Ability to solve problems when issues have been detected.
- Be able to work on weekends, holidays, called in when needed and rotating shifts when needed.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 or more years related experience
- Process Safety Management, EPA and/or any OSHA training a plus
- Ability to define problems while working with Ammonia systems

- Garden City Operator 1
- Garden City Operator 2
- Garden City PSM Certificate
