Team Member - Full-time / Part-time

Team members are responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience by consistently providing friendly,responsive service, great tasting/quality food, and a clean restaurant environment for all guests. Team members will work at one or more workstations in accordance with Jack in the Box procedures, systems, and standards. You are responsible for taking customer’s orders, assembling the orders, and acting as cashiers.Activities & Responsibilitieso Demonstrate a strong awareness and concern for food quality and safetyo Ensure all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, and guidelines are followedo Ensure that all food and products are consistently prepared and served according to the restaurant’s recipes,portioning, cooking, and serving standardso Ensure guests are satisfied with the food and service, and respond promptly and courteously to correct anyproblemso Collect payments from guestso Take food and beverage orders from guestso Serve food and beverages to guestso Expect to be versatile and work in a variety of positions such as; drive-thru attendant, cashier, fry cook, griller,janitorial services, etc.o Answer guest questions about menu items, beverages, and other restaurant functions and serviceso Clean tables or counters after guests have finished diningo Clearly communicate and repeat back food orders to guests in the drive-thruo Perform cleaning duties, such as sweeping and mopping floors, vacuuming carpet, taking out trash, and checkand cleaning the bathroomo Replenishing supplies and condimentso Notifying kitchen staff of any food orders or food shortageso Thank guests for the visit and invite them to returno Attend all employee meetingsTools & Technologyo Cash registerso Credit card processing machineso Headsets for drive-thru communicationo Point-of-sale terminals and receipt printers

Minimum Qualifications
o Be 18 years of age or older
o Ability to speak, read, and write effectively in English
o Excellent interpersonal skills
o Ability to perform and understand basic math concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
o Ability to work well with diverse groups of people
o Proven analytical skills
o Good organization and planning skills
o Self-starter who takes initiative and willingly accepts responsibility
o Demonstrates integrity and ethical behavior
o Able to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system
o Able to stand and walk approximately 90%-95% of shift and move freely throughout the restaurant
o Able to reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds
o Jack in the Box is a 24/7 restaurant, so team leaders must be willing to work a flexible schedule.
o Ability to listen to guests’ orders and read video monitors
