The Repair Technician is responsible for the evaluation and repair of outdoor power equipment. They will need to be able to use critical thinking skills and knowledge gained to troubleshoot, service, and repair Lawn Mowers, STIHL equipment, blowers, trimmers, and chainsaws. STIHL product knowledge is a plus.

Requirements

Part-time or Full-time position that will require individuals with the following skills:

·         Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changes
·         Proficient oral and written communication skills
·         Time management skills
·         Demonstrate the aptitude to be a team player
·         Ability to work under pressure
·         Basic computer abilities
·         Ability to lift at least 75 lbs. repeatedly.
·         Valid driver's license required or consistent way to come to work

Responsibilities and Duties

·         Perform routine service according to manufacturer's guidelines
·         Interface with equipment manufacturer
·         Attend manufacturer update schools and complete all online training 
          requirements.
·         Accurately determine estimates of customer's repair costs and advise customers 
          on work performed
·         Troubleshoot, diagnose, and provide maintenance and repairs on mowers, 
           chainsaws, trimmers, and other outdoor power equipment
·         Work closely with the service writer to complete all projects on time and in 
           accordance to OSHA
