Responsibilities and Qualifications

Ultrasound Technologist I performs ultrasound procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Perform a variety of technical procedures that will require independent judgment and ingenuity and initiative to supply prescribed sonography examinations for radiographic diagnosis. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, guiding principles and mercy service standards.

Qualifications:

Because you're committed to excellence, you understand the importance of being properly prepared for your role at Mercy. That's why you'll bring to your role the right set of qualifications:

  • Education: Satisfactory completion of an accredited radiologic technology program and/or equivalent college level program.
  • Certifications: Registered or registry eligible in OB-GYN and Abdominal Sonography, with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. All ultrasonographers must be registered in OB-GYN and Abdominal Sonography within 6 months of hire date and registered in vascular within one year of hire.
