Essential Responsibilities:

• Performs all necessary preventative maintenance on equipment
• Troubleshoot units and identify problem areas
• Ensure that all maintenance schedules are maintained
• Ensure that all paperwork is completed timely and accurately
• Ensure that all equipment is functional before mobilization
• Compliance with HS&E policies and procedures
• Uses hand tools, power tools, & electronic diagnostic equipment
• The position includes advanced troubleshooting on electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Skilled craftsman with a minimum of 6-7 years actual and recent experience in inspecting, troubleshooting, diagnosing, dismantling and reassembling fleet vehicles.
• Ability to read & understands equipment and vehicle repair manuals
• Ability to work long hours and mandatory overtime
• Minimum of High School Diploma or GED
• Availability to work a weekends and on-call is required

Desired Characteristics:

• Excellent mechanical aptitude and in-depth knowledge of internal combustion engines (gas and diesel), electrical systems, hydraulics and pneumatics is preferred.
• Oil and gas industry experience a plus
• Two year technical degree preferred
• Clean driving record
• CDL License preferred (Class A or B)
